Besides his academic activities at the University of Geneva, Prof. Probst is a Managing Director, responsible for Academic Affairs and the Leadership Office, at the World Economic Forum. He leads the Global Leadership Fellows Program at the World Economic Forum - a program dedicated to developing the next generation of world leaders. This three-year Master's program in global leadership uniquely couples leadership training with in-depth knowledge of industry, civil society, as well as global and regional governments.
The chair of Organization and Management is furthermore linked to various partner companies and collaborates with the consulting firm SKGroup that is specialized in strategy and general management. As president of the SKU, Swiss Top Executive Training, Prof. Probst also promotes the SKU Advanced Management Program that fosters comprehensive, practice-related, and cross-sector developments in general management.
The chair of Organization and Management works in close collaboration with the University of St. Gallen. More precisely, the Center of Organizational Excellence (CORE) has been created to jointly advance research insights into sustainable growth and to share best practices with partner organizations. Likewise, the chair is active in the Geneva Knowledge Forum - a platform that has been created to foster the exchange between academia and practice in the area of knowledge management.
Moreover, Prof. Probst is founder of the Swiss Board Institute, which promotes the development, dissemination, and exchange of knowledge linked to the board function.
